I really cannot recommend this dealership. What an absolute con artist. Sold me a car that wasn’t MOT worthy, told me to get repairs done and he would reimburse me. Told me I needed to send proof of receipt before he could which I sent 3 times! One first class, one tracked and one signed for delivery. And even after still said he received no mail. What an absolute joke. I’m glad to see this company go into liquidation, no surprise either if everyone is treated like I was. More than likely though he has probably rebranded himself in another name to avoid paying tax. Which would surprise me.
I purchased a 64 plate vw polo back in November. I felt like it had an issue with the rear brakes. So i phoned them, as the car had warranty & I took it back to them. They told me that they took the car to a garage next door to have a look. But there wasn’t an issue. So I believed them. I kept noticing the issue. So I took it to a different garage for them to tell me that the car basically had no rear brakes. (Leaking cylinders, really worn brake shoes etc) I feel/felt ripped off at the time as i paid a lot for the car and I feel like I’ve been lied to.
Dodgy company this is. Agreed a sale for a zafira on the 24/5/2018 with part exchange for my vehicle. Was told to come back next day to test drive and leave deposit. 25/5/18 arrived to find the place closed. Several calls no answer. 10 mins later a guy turned up and claimed to be the landlord and the other guy was renting the area off him but his father in law died and he had to go to london. Called later and enquired about another car to find out he's the manager, then changed the story to he passed away last week and the other guy was at the funeral on the 24/5/18 so there's no way I could have spoken to him and agreed the sale.. very Dishonest people
My son bought a car from Second City Auto Sales that proved to be unroadworthy and dangerous. There was no help offered or forthcoming from the garage in rectifying the situation. Despite a small claims court ruling in my son's favour, a CCJ was ignored until bailiffs were called. It took 18 months before he got the money back after paying to have the car fixed. My advice - be very, very careful here and get a full AA/RAC inspection of anything you propose to buy.
