I've been working with Zara for over 4 months now. I was experiencing a lot of knee pain because I have flat feet, which was impacting my knees. I was unable to climb stairs, sit down or stand up without pain. 4 months on and I'm now able to do a full squat pain free. I understand good form and how to avoid the pain. I've been able to build strength in my knees and legs gradually without injury. Zara has helped me to build strength slowly, breaking down each movement until I was able to do a complete squat. Her workouts are practical and manageable, she has a very good understanding of muscles and joints to ensure you're moving in the correct way to avoid further damage. Zara has been very supportive and has encouraged me to push past the discomfort without causing pain. I can now exercise with confidence even when Zara isn't with me and I always look forward to our sessions and love to see her get excited about my progress. Now that I've overcome the problems in my knees, we've moved on to improving my upper body strength. I'm looking forward to becoming stronger and improving my knowledge on how to exercise. I'd recommend Zara to anyone who is looking to build strength, confidence and improve joint and muscle health.
Me and my sister both trained with Zara for some time to kick-start our fitness journey’s, and the training sessions by far exceeded our expectations. Not only is Zara SO personable, she tailored our workouts to suit our fitness levels perfectly, whilst making sure each session was a challenge. She sent us guides on food/macros and workouts which she had personally made previously, for us to use between our sessions. Each week we looked forward to our sessions and felt stronger. We look forward to building upon what Zara taught us and implementing it into our workouts. If you are thinking of PT’ing with Zara, whether that’s for your fitness, mental health, weight goals or anything else, you should definitely do it - you won’t regret it. I have known Zara for many years now. I first met her when she was working out at Pure Gym and I had another personal trainer. When circumstances changed I looked Zara up as she was always friendly when I bumped into her. We hit it off from our first session and she has been by my side through personal times and injuries. I consider her a friend who trains me and not just a P.T. For anyone looking for a trainer who listens, who engages with you and looks to make every session different and fun, then Zara is your girl!
I have known Zara now for 3 years. Throughout this time I have worked with her on pure loser, had PT sessions and joined her ZS challenge throughout lockdown. She is one of the most inspirational PTs I know - not only does she train me, she also trains my family who have disabilities. Her ability to adapt and tailor her exercises specific to her client and their abilities is second to none - she is not one of those PT’s that just pile on the weight regardless of form and create injury! As a specialist physiotherapist myself I love that she is able to understand the human body, correct anatomy, physiology and understand how to correctly and safely load the body to work towards your specific goals. I cannot recommend her highly enough - if there were 10 stars she would achieve this every time!
Zara is a PT like no other. She dedicates herself to each and every client tailoring to their individual needs. She's always finding new ways to make her sessions more fun but hard working. Not only is she an amazing PT but she becomes your friend too. Definitely worth every single penny to have this lady as a PT. X
